How it works

TooeleTrades is a local directory: homeowners browse and call, contractors claim and upgrade.

For homeowners

Find a local pro

  1. Pick a trade — plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and more.
  2. Browse businesses based in Tooele County. Phone numbers are always listed.
  3. Call the shop directly. Browsing and calling are free.

Claim or list your business

  1. Find your listing — or request to be added if you’re not in the directory yet.
  2. Claim it. We verify authorization (usually by calling the listing phone).
  3. Stay free, or upgrade for a Pro Listing or Sponsored placement.

For homeowners

Is this free for homeowners?

Yes. Browsing the directory and calling listed businesses is free.

What does Sponsored mean?

Sponsored listings are paid Featured placements. On each trade page, all Sponsored businesses in that category’s cap appear at the top (labeled Sponsored). Their order rotates throughout the day.

What does Pro Listing mean?

Pro Listing is the $29/month paid plan. Those listings show a Pro Listing badge and appear above free listings. It is not a Utah license badge, and it is separate from Claimed by owner (which means we confirmed the owner or manager).

What does Claimed by owner mean?

Claimed by owner means we confirmed someone authorized for that business. It can appear on a free listing or a paid plan. It is not the $29 Pro Listing plan.

What areas do you cover?

Tooele County — including Tooele, Grantsville, Stansbury Park, Erda, Lake Point, and nearby communities. Listings show where each business is based.

For contractors

How do I claim or add my business?

Use List your business. Choose claim if you’re already listed, or add if you’re not. We verify authorization (usually by calling the listing phone) before any public changes go live.

Can someone fake a claim?

Submitting the form does not edit the directory by itself. We confirm ownership before updates or upgrades — typically by contacting the phone number already shown on the listing.
